Michael Searle
CEO & Executive Producer
Michael is a Producer and Assistant Director from London who is best known as ’THE MELON’ of Melon and Spud Productions. His fruitful personality and commitment to the industry has enabled him to develop extensive knowledge and experience working for some of the worlds most established, directors, producers and production companies.
After completing a degree in Film Production and Cinematography at Bournemouth University Michael has gone onto work with top broadcasters such as Disney, Netflix and the BBC. He has gained an integral understanding of the industry servicing feature films, HETV drama, commercials, music videos and fashion shoots. His personal highlight working alongside Steven Spielberg.
Michael says that, Ultimately, my aspirations come from my inspirations. Combining both his creativity and experience of all aspects of the industry it sets the foundations for every project he embarks on.
Francesca Marago
CEO & Executive Producer
Francesca is a Producer, Location Manager, Actor and Voice Artist from London who is best known as 'THE SPUD' of Melon and Spud Productions. Her warming demeanour and unquestionable passion for everything she does has led to her making huge strides in the industry working across multiple commercials, TV dramas and Features such as Billions, Master of None S3, The People We Hate at The Wedding and more. Her favourite project was working with furry friends, Sergei and Oleg, on multiple Compare the Market commercials.
Her passion for performance and unique, meaningful storytelling led her to train in Acting at The Oxford School of Drama. Subsequently she studied Drama and Performance at the University of Portsmouth where she graduated with a First Class Honours.
There are no limitations or obstacles too big for Francesca. She endeavours to maintain her core values and principles throughout her work.
